Blue Apple Battle

Live Action Learning

Blue Apple Battle is a live action, team-based event that uses a safe, structured “battle” format (often Nerf-style play) to teach substance use prevention, decision-making, and other life skills through movement, coaching, and real-time learning. It’s designed to be fun and high-energy, while still delivering serious, evidence-based prevention messages.

What it looks like in real life?

Participants rotate through short, organized battles 25-minute rounds with built-in reset time using inflatable barriers, safe zones, and music to keep energy high and operations controlled.

What It Teaches?

Blue Apple Battle is built to engage youth and families through:

Games that focus on resisting peer pressure, strengthening self-confidence and self-image, and improving decision-making

Who’s involved and why that matters

A key feature is connection to trusted community role models. Youth team up with first responders (fire, police, medical professionals) in the simulation, creating an experience that blends mentorship, credibility, and “real-world” reinforcement in a setting kids actually want to attend.
